V1.0 coming to Steam and Itch on Monday, Nov. 20

The final update (V1.0) of Prince of Suburbia will launch on Steam and Itch on Monday, November 20! We can't wait for the fans and players on those platforms to see the conclusion of the Prince of Suburbia story. 

Right now, TheOmega and our amazing testers are making sure there are no bugs or issues now that all of the translations for V1.0 have been added to the game. So far, all the issues have been relatively minor and it should be ready for release on Monday. 

Note: V1.0 is a game-breaking update due to the new GUI. Using old saves, even if they open without error, will cause errors later on. Please start a new game or use one of the jump in points in the title menu rather than opening old saves. 

The V1.0 update includes some remastering in Part 1, including 16 illustrations, 8 animations, and 115 voice acting files. Now every lewd scene in the entire game has voice acting featuring HaruLuna! The V1.0 update will add 8 new scenes to finish Part 2, with about 20K words of dialogue, 39 illustrations, 23 animations, and 33 voice acting files. All of the GUI was completely redone with this update, as well.

The remastered content added to Part 1 (FREE DEMO) will be available to access directly from the gallery if you have already unlocked those scenes (you will not need to replay any scenes you've already played). The new content added to Part 2 is a free update for anyone who has purchased the entire game on Itch or the Part 2 DLC on Steam.

(Note: If you downloaded V1.0 from Patreon or SubscribeStar, there is no new content in the Steam and Itch versions. All that was added is the translations to other languages.)

What's next for Prince of Suburbia?

V1.0 completes Part 2 and the main story of Prince of Suburbia. We want to make sure there are no major bugs or issues in the game (especially in the translated/localized versions) before we leave Early Access on Steam, but that is our next goal. The plan is to work on that in early 2024.

After Prince of Suburbia has left Early Access on Steam in early 2024, we will begin development on the additional Pregnancy DLC content. Stay tuned for more on that next year!
