First, we want to take a moment to celebrate a significant milestone: our studio has reached a remarkable 600,000 downloads across all platforms! Additionally, we want to celebrate Prince of Suburbia specifically for surpassing 500,000 downloads on Steam and Itch combined!

A large portion of the downloads are the free demos that we offer for both games, but that doesn't change how fun it is to watch our audience grow. It's exciting for us to know that we've brought enjoyment to so many players!

It can be easy to get lost in all the details and tasks of making the games, so after a big release we typically take a step back to just breathe and reflect. After we released Chapter 3 (V0.25) of A Shot in the Dark earlier this month, we took a few days to reflect on all that we've accomplished and what our longterm plans are for the future.

We have a lot we want to accomplish in the next year, including:

• wrapping up the main story of Prince of Suburbia with V1.0 release
• beginning development of epilogue content for Prince of Suburbia
• releasing a paid version (Book 1) of A Shot in the Dark on Steam
• beginning development of our next game
• outsourcing more tasks so we are not spread so thin
• reinvesting profit to increase the quality and speed of development

We have a lot of exciting things in store, and we're so excited to have you on this journey with us!

A Shot in the Dark - Chapter 4 (V0.3)

We're mostly focused on writing for Chapter 4 right now. Mute Hazelnut just finished the most amazing Mai scene, and Josselyn has written scenes for both Ashley and Paloma that we know fans of those characters are going to love.

We recently conducted outfit polls for Mai and Ashley, and we'll be conducting more polls for other characters' outfits in the coming weeks. And be sure to check out the special renders with Ashley and Alexis if you haven't already! Thanks to everyone who weighed in on those polls!

We're also preparing for the translation and localization of A Shot in the Dark in anticipation of its Steam release in December 2023! Make sure to wishlist the game, if you haven't already! It helps a lot!

Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 (V0.95)

We're nearing the completion of V0.95 of Prince of Suburbia. Our talented writer, Rachel Writes, has now taken over writing the only unfinished scene. Two other writers before her were unable to complete it, but third time's a charm! It's the most ambitious scene we've had so far in Prince of Suburbia, and we can't wait for you to see it!

Coding is advancing smoothly and is expected to be finished by next week, assuming there are no further delays in the writing process. Once we have a build ready for testing, we'll make an announcement!

Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 (V1.0)

Currently, Rachel Writes is the only writer working primarily on Prince of Suburbia. She was working on the Lina scene for V1.0 (which was decided by prior polls: Lina #1 and Lina #2), but that's been put on hold for the time being while she focuses on helping us get to the finish line with V0.95.

The scenes for Fiona, Heather, Naomi, Sarah, and Sonia have first drafts already written. Catherine's scene is left to write, along with a few non-lewd scenes. Once all the scenes for V1.0 are written, Josselyn will finish weaving everything together into a cohesive update that provides a satisfying ending to the story and for all the characters.

V1.0 will feature more free roam elements than previous updates, which is also why we are being conservative with the percentage completed for writing. It's hard to say how much work is left to do as far as designing that, since it's different from previous updates. But, as always, we will keep you updated as development continues!
