We have some exciting news to share, which is that we will soon be selling Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 as a paid DLC on Steam! Currently, only the FREE DEMO - Part 1 (V0.55) is available on Steam. Soon Steam players will have access to the most recent version of the game (V0.8), as well as future updates!

However, this development brings two important changes to how we sell our game here on Itch.io that we want to make players aware of:

• The price of Prince of Suburbia must increase to $9.99 USD here on Itch.io in order to match Steam's price. We will make this change when we release V0.8 later this month.
• Releases to Itch.io will no longer happen at the same time as the Patreon releases. Instead, Itch.io releases will be delayed by a few weeks in order to line up with Steam releases. This change will begin with the V0.9 release in late 2022/early 2023.

How will this affect current players? It has been difficult for us to get a straight answer from Itch.io on how the price increase will impact players who have already purchased the game. 

Our current understanding is that players who have already purchased the game will have to pay the difference in price between what they paid originally and the new price. However, once they have paid the new purchase price, our understanding is that players will continue to receive future updates for free as they are released.
